FULL NAME: Maureen Brooke Tucknott
AGE & BIRTHDAY: 15 / June 10th
ETHNICITY: Australian
ALLIANCE: Senshi
SCHOOL: New York High School
GRADE: 9th / Freshman
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Choir and Track
RESIDENCE: Kew Gardens, Queens, New York
FAMILY: Mother - Madison Keely Abbott is a housewife slash seamstress. She grew up in Sydney, Australia, having attended college there as well, and was an elementary school teacher for some time. After moving to New York (or more specifically, after having Maureen), Madison decided to stay at home. But being just a housewife wasn't enough for her that she decided to take her favorite hobby of designing and sewing and turn it into a tiny little business she tended to from home.

Father - Benjamin Jack Tucknott is a pharmacist who works at CVS pharmacy chain stores. Though he has one specific store he works on during weekdays, its not uncommon for him to take the position as floater pharmacist at other stores in Queens. Maureen's relationship is stronger with her father than with her mother, despite loving them equally. She feels like her mother just couldn't possibly understand her as well her father does. With the exception of a few girly topics, but even those topics are something she'd hesitate asking her mother about.

OCCUPATION: Student
REINCARNATION OF: Sailor ChibiMoon/Chibi-usa

APPEARANCE: A simple glance from afar would be hard to help one recognize her as a high school freshman. Standing at 5'1" and 105 lbs, Maureen is usually mistaken for a middle schooler instead. Her round baby face doesn't really help her in that situation either. Nonetheless, it does give off an adorable appearance despite whatever age she appears to be.

Maureen usually wears her dirty blonde hair loose, going back and forth between wavy curls and straight locks. Her hazel-colored eyes that are that color without the use of contact lens are occasionally on the receiving end of envy from other girls her age. Maureen herself is indifferent and find it hard to believe its such a special color.

During winters in New York, she travels to Sydney, Australia for about a week where the season is the complete opposite. Hence around the beginning of the Spring semester in January, Maureen's complexion is mostly tanned. It begins to fade out by the end of the school year, unless she decides to get a tan during the summer again -- which is rare because of her mother adamantly believing that she's too young for tans and thinking of fashion in general.

Not that her mother has anything to worry about when it comes to fashion. Maureen, despite dressing in bright colors, still prefers to look as simple as possible. Majority of her clothing are just a single color, a non-brand name tee and jeans or a skirt are preferable. She's not a big fan of makeup and the most you'd see her wear is a tad bit of eyeliner.

PERSONALITY: The first impression one might get is that Maureen is a sweet girl. You could throw in loyal and determined as well, but its really hard to describe her in just three words.

If one is having a bad day, an effective solution would be to hang around Maureen and their day would already be looking up. It's just how she is! She's outgoing and bubbly and always jumping to make friends or cheer them up. Her good mood can be contagious for those who aren't completely cynical bastards. (Or you know, just evil and hell-bent on taking over the planet.) And Maureen adores meeting new people. She's not shy at all from walking up to a random kid in the street and question him or her on why they are standing there. Once she makes a friend, she will try her hardest to fulfill her duty. Expect cookies to be made and frequent house visits.

Maureen has an eye for seeing talent in those who don't believe they have any. Or at least she attempts to convince them that their skills do exist and can help them reach their goal if they try hard enough. She generally tends to support underdogs because she believes that people have the ability to choose their destiny and that it's not preplanned -- especially not when a friend is about to give up on an invention that they are unable to perfect.

In this aspect, you could say she's more mature than children her age. This is especially true when it comes to thoughts and conversations on relationships. Don't be fooled though, because this is hardly a sagely wise woman simply stuck in the body of a fifteen-year-old. Maureen has occasional (and unreasonable) jealous streaks and she's just as stubborn, rebellious and indecisive as the next teenager currently undergoing puberty. Don't especially tell her there's something she can't do, because she will go out there and prove you wrong. Luckily, after succeeding, she won't rub it in your face for too long.

Even at a young age, Maureen has dreams. She obviously wants to be as successful as her father but wants to do something she would completely enjoy, like her mother. She has no specific career plan for herself, but that doesn't mean she doesn't go out there and experiment with anything. She's tried her hand at sewing, and now hopes to be able to volunteer at a hospital in the future summers.

Though she hasn't found her niche yet, its safe to say that she will be very hard-working in whatever she chooses. And whatever it is, she would want to achieve it alone. Maureen's a perfectionist and at fifteen years, she doesn't fully realize that doing everything on her own and her way doesn't always lead to success. Of course, she's still a child now, slightly precocious and sometimes judgmental and has much to learn but at least she also is open-minded.

HISTORY: Benjamin was a college student who had just recently graduated and had decided to visit family in Australia and stay for a while before he went head-first in taking those licensing examinations for pharmacy after leaving an accredited institute. It seemed like a good idea... all that hard work finally paid off, he needed to celebrate it someway. Madison was also a recent graduate, but in Australia rather than outside the country. Actually, she was the second grade teacher of Benjamin's niece's class. And when Uncle Benjy decided to pick up his niece from school that one day was the day he and Miss Abbott met. It was love at first sight.

Not really, but there was definitely some strong mutual attraction. Benjamin eventually had to return home to take his tests, but he did take frequent visits back there. And every time, he would go over to his niece's middle school, even when she was well past second grade and Madison was no longer her teacher. Eventually, he took the initiative and they started a long-distance relationship. At first, Madison was wary, but a year went by and her apprehension started to ease away.

And they eased away entirely when he asked her to marry him one day.

Long story made short, they had a beautiful wedding in Australia and after days of antagonizing over the decision, Madison decided to move to New York with him. (His niece wasn't really happy to see her favorite teacher leave their school though.) It wasn't long after they were settled into a new home in Kew Gardens, Queens did they decide to have a baby. Their little girl wasn't the first though. The first was unfortunately a miscarriage after which they felt it was better to wait for a certain time period before trying it again. The second time around, Maureen Tucknott was brought into the world on a June 10th.

From the start, Maureen was a hyperactive child. She especially had the habit of especially hiding in small places and then her parents would go mental just by looking for her. Though she was scolded in the end, she regretted making her parents worry but she never regretted the feeling of euphoria when she felt like she was going on a great adventure on finding out the possibilities of what could be under the kitchen cupboard.

Since present-day Maureen is so outgoing, one would expect that she did great in her school years, but its actually the opposite. When she started out in kindergarten, she hated the environment. But this isn't uncommon among children who are going to school for the first time. Gradually, she became used to attending school but she was still quiet and reserved. She wouldn't start coming out of her shell until around fifth grade anyway, after she was used to seeing most of the same children in her future grade classes.

At the start of middle school when she changed schools, Maureen was again, temporarily drawn back in but seeing as she was getting to like the hang of making new friends, it didn't take long for her to come back out and become quite the social butterfly by eight grade. With high school starting for her soon, she's feeling that same apprehension, but nothing's going to stop her once she makes at least one new friend.

The senshi within Maureen hasn't exactly awakened yet, but strange occurrences started not too long ago. It started off when her father was reading a book on Greek mythology not too long ago about Bellerophon defeating the Chimera and the Amazons while riding a winged horse named Pegasus. That was perhaps her first time hearing of the story, but upon hearing the name Pegasus suddenly brought forth a memory of a winged white horse with a horn on its head -- and this was before her father had even started to read the story, let alone describe the horse. Nothing too weird had occurred after that again until one day when she sleepily walked past the hallway mirror and did a double take because she thought her hair looked pinkish.

FIRST PERSON ENTRY: Dear Diary

I baked cookies for the first time today. I did it all by myself. But I was pretty sure I did everything right. I don't know why they still came out tasting so BLAND. Mom offered to help but I told her that I was going to get this done myself. The recipes are there, so are the ingredients. Why does it have to be so hard?

I thought I had no cookies for Michelle's birthday and that was just upsetting. See, Michelle's gets sick easily and she's absent a lot from class. I guess that's why she doesn't have many friends -- because she's barely around to make new ones. But I'm glad I started talking to her that day when she was finally around. She seems really nice!

And she draws so well too. You should see her sketchbook!

Anyway... I really needed to make those cookies because I felt like she needed something for her birthday besides more medicine. But when they failed so badly, I didn't know what to do.

Mom offered again and I thought "OH MY GOD, I'm not that little, I can handle a batter and cookie dough!"

And then her help the second time around was much more useful because there was a step I missed in the recipe book. I guess if I hadn't nearly huffed and walked away given into her helping me I would have been stuck in the house for hours and Michelle wouldn't have gotten her cookies.

But she got them! I never seen her look happier! I'm so glad she has something other than that processed hospital food (ewww) to eat. I'm also glad she's at home and not in the hospital. Knowing any cabinet can have needles in it kind of scares me

THIRD PERSON NARRATIVE: Maureen was tired. She could barely keep her eyes open. And it was the first day of classes too! She was rarely ever tired for that reason. If anything, it was usually an exciting time for her. She wasn't one of those nerds that loved studying and couldn't wait to get started, though she earned pretty good grades. But new years always meant new people, which was the best part of going to school -- seeing every new as well as old person you were friends with in one area.

But today, Maureen just wanted to go back to sleep. It wasn't that she hadn't gotten enough last night (well, despite being too excited to sleep, she had eventually drifted off into dreamland), but what was haunting her mind right now was the dream.

That dreamed seemed so familiar, yet, she had really never had a dream like it before. Plus, she only read the book on Pegasus and Bellerophon once. Why would she be dreaming of the beautiful white horse flying overhead after one story? It was probably very trivial but for some strange reason, she wanted to do nothing but go back to sleep and dream some more.

Strange, indeed.

"Maureen," her mother's voice broke into her thoughts.

"Hmm?" Maureen looked up and it was then when she realized her mother had a scowl on her face and already had the car keys in her hand. "Oh, my God, are we late? Well, don't just stand there!"
